Ken founded Lambay Advisors and is a seasoned consulting professional with 15+ years experience advising private equity investors with strategy consulting and market diligence services. He is also a Managing Director at our partner firm, Daymark Consulting. Ken provides strategic insights to private equity investors on their investment opportunities, and advises C-level executives in PE-owned companies on their growth opportunities and go-to-market strategies.
Before starting Lambay, Ken was a Senior Vice President and Partner at Investor Group Services, a consulting firm, where for over 7 years he led ~200 engagements for private equity investors and corporate clients in industries such as software and I.T. services, industrials and manufacturing, business services, healthcare, transportation / logistics, and building products and construction.
Earlier in his career, Ken spent 10 years in the B2B software industry in senior sales and product marketing positions driving revenue and market penetration for early-stage, growth-oriented companies. He successfully led the U.S. market entry and sales and marketing efforts for Cape Clear Software and Solid Information Technology, two European companies acquired by Workday and IBM respectively. He was the top performing sales executive for IONA Technologies, one of the fastest growing European software companies of the 1990s, later acquired by Progress Software. Ken also worked in corporate development at Nokia, at the time the world's largest manufacturer of cell phones and mobile network equipment
Ken holds an MBA from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management and a B.Sc. degree from Trinity College in Ireland.
